Welcome to the Preschool and Primary Department at Singapore School, Pantai Indah Kapuk.
It is a privilege to be part of the SIS-PIK community as Deputy Head of Preschool and Primary. I am delighted to work alongside our dedicated team as we continue the tradition of delivering a world-class education for our youngest learners—laying strong foundations for a future filled with innovation, compassion, and purpose.

Our Educational Philosophy
As the world evolves, so do the expectations placed on our children. We believe that every child has the right to learn, grow, and be nurtured according to their individual strengths—whether in academics, the arts, music, or personal expression.
School should be a safe, caring space where children are encouraged to ask questions, try new things, and find their voice. Together with our team of passionate educators, school leaders, and parents, we are committed to providing a supportive and dynamic learning environment where every child is empowered to thrive.
Preschool: The Beginning of the Climb
In Preschool, learning is a journey of discovery. Through play-based and inquiry-led experiences, our youngest students explore the world around them with wonder and curiosity. Our curriculum is carefully designed to instil a lifelong love of learning while developing early literacy, numeracy, motor coordination, and social-emotional understanding.
Our aim is to ignite natural curiosity and help each child build confidence in their ideas, actions, and relationships—with peers, teachers, and the wider world.
Primary: Building Critical and Creative Thinkers
As students transition into Primary, they begin to follow the structured and rigorous Singapore Primary curriculum—widely respected for its emphasis on academic excellence, resilience, and applied thinking.
Here, children are encouraged to think deeply, solve problems creatively, and collaborate meaningfully. They begin to understand not just what they learn, but why it matters. Lessons are designed to challenge and extend students across disciplines, while also developing empathy, teamwork, and personal responsibility.
Becoming Future-Ready Learners
Across both Preschool and Primary, innovation plays a central role. We equip our students with the tools, habits of mind, and attitudes needed to navigate a future we cannot yet define. Through integrated learning and purposeful collaboration, they ask:
- How can I adapt to new challenges?
- What skills do I have to contribute to the world?
- How can we work together for the greater good?
These are not just academic questions—they are life questions. And our role, as educators, is to help students begin answering them with confidence, creativity, and care.
At SIS-PIK, we see each child not just for who they are today, but for who they can become. We are proud to walk alongside them at the start of this journey—one step, one spark of curiosity, one moment of discovery at a time.
