Singapore School, Pantai Indah Kapuk is a leading international school in Jakarta, Indonesia. Our students have done well in the iPSLE and have earned commendations in their performance. They are also all-rounders, not only strong in Mathematics and Science, but also in languages and the creative arts. 

We are seeking enthusiastic, creative and dynamic Chinese teachers of the highest quality to join our successful team. Applicants should possess a commitment to helping students achieve high academic standards in a lively and engaging manner, through the Singapore curriculum. 

Applicants should:

  • Be qualified teachers, with at least 5 years’ post-qualifying experience in Chinese language for primary.
  • Experience in Singapore Chinese Language curriculum and/or HSK and teaching Chinese to second language learners is preferred.
  • Fluent in Chinese language, written and spoken.
  • Proficient in English language, written and spoken.
  • Possess a creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom. 
  • Present excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with staff, students and parents.

Our High School follows the Cambridge IGCSE, Pearson BTEC and International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

Applicants should possess a commitment to helping students achieve high academic standards in a lively and engaging manner.  Currently, the school teaches Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE in Physics, Extended Mathematics and Additional Mathematics. We also offer both IB Physics, Mathematics: applications and interpretations and Mathematics: analysis and approaches. We are looking for a candidate who could support both subjects, either at Lower Secondary or IGCSE level. 

Successful Candidates will:

  • Have a teaching certificate, with at least 5 years’ post-qualifying experience.
  • Have experience teaching one or more of the following: British National Curriculum/ IGCSE, BTEC and IB.
  • The ability to teach both Physics and Mathematics at Lower Secondary and/or IGCSE level. 
  • Be willing to engage in Continuous Professional Development to improve practice.
  • Possess a creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom.
  • Present excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with staff, students and parents.
  • Have an eye for detail.

Applicants should possess a commitment to helping students achieve high academic standards in a lively and engaging manner.  Currently, the school teaches Cambridge Lower Secondary and IGCSE in Biology, Chemistry and Physics. We also offer IB Diploma courses in all three sciences. In Grades 9 and 10 we also deliver Pearson International BTEC Applied Science, a vocational-based qualification with specific modules in Biology. 

Successful Candidates will:

  • Have a teaching certificate, with at least 5 years’ post-qualifying experience.
  • Have experience teaching one or more of the following: British National Curriculum/ IGCSE, BTEC and IB
  • Have prior experience in engineering or a commitment to delivering the BTEC in Engineering
  • Be willing to engage in Continuous Professional Development to improve practice
  • Possess a creative and enthusiastic approach both in and out of the classroom 
  • Present excellent IT and interpersonal communication skills to work closely with staff, students and parents.
  • Have an eye for detail
