Congratulations to SIS-PIK amazing Scholars who attended the Global round in Beijing from June 21 to June 26, 2019. Only students who qualify in the Jakarta round can attend. Students enjoyed scavenger hunts, keynote speeches, panel discussions, WSC signature cultural fair, the Scholar’s Ball, and, of course, all the competitive and community-building events that are the bedrock of the World Scholar’s Cup.

Our students brought home a total of 4 trophies and 62 medals for their achievements in the individual and team events of the WSC. 

Huge congratulations to Kimberly for being the overall CHAMPION SCHOLAR in the Junior Division! Kimberly also made it to the JUNIOR DEBATE SHOWCASE, where chosen top 8 debaters in the debate rounds present their views about a motion from the WSC curriculum in front of 3,000 scholars, coaches and parents. What an amazing feat to be selected from among 2,500 scholars coming from 50+ countries!

A huge congratulations to our amazing winners at the World Scholar’s Cup Tournament of Champions at Yale University on November 8-13, 2019. What an incredible group – they have achieved the very best results yet! Well done team SIS-PIK.

Our students brought home a total of 3 Individual Trophies and 1 Team Trophy, 23 Gold and 14 Silver medals for their achievements in the individual and team events of the WSC TOC.

The Global URC (UBTECH Robotics Competition) is an event that gives students the opportunity to challenge themselves in the fast-pace of technology development. In November 2019, Indonesia represented by SIS-PIK is one of the countries that qualified to secure a spot in the competition. For the qualification round, the total of 84 teams from 8 countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Thailand, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, Mexico and China were competing with each other to secure a spot for the final round. Our team, Austin and Bradley had made their way to the final round to compete with another 42 teams. And after all the hard work, we would like to congratulate our students who achieved the Future AI Star for Smart Factory (Austin and Bradley) and the Merit Award for Smart Factory (Adnan and Maxwell).

Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO) is a worldwide math competition held annually and organized by the famous Terry Chew Institute of Mathematical Olympiads (TCIMO). Great brain teasers in this contest excite and fascinate our math lovers. Our young Mathematicians attended the SEAMO X Finals which was held in Gold Coast, Australia on January 18-20, 2020. Congratulations to SIS-PIK participants on their achievements!

Harvard Model Congress Asia (HMCA) is a global conference where students learn and experience government while playing the roles of officials in the United States government and several international political bodies. HMC Asia strives to educate and foster the next generation of global leaders by offering a truly interactive program, featuring one-on-one communication with Harvard students, debate on pressing global issues, and cross-cultural connections among delegates from throughout Asia and around the world. 11 SIS-PIK students attended the conference in Tokyo in January 2020. Their roles included high profile committees such as the G-20, National Security Council, World Trade Organization and the World Bank.

We are incredibly proud of our Chinese program at SIS-PIK. On 18^th January 2020, 30 Primary students and 20 Secondary/JC students participated in the Raffles Cup Chinese competition. The competition was fierce! Contestants from more than 20 schools participated in a range of contests including storytelling and debate. We are so pleased with our results; 1^st Place of Secondary and JC debate competition, Best cooperation and debating team, 3^rd Place of Primary Individual Competition, and 3^rd Place of Primary Group Competition. Congratulations to our winners on their achievements!

Congratulations to Valencia! We are so proud of her achievement. She earned First Place for Best Across Eight Cambridge IGCSE qualifications and the highest mark in Indonesia for Cambridge IGCSE Information & Communication Technology in the June 2019 Cambridge examinations.

Congratulations to Natania for winning 1^st place in Badminton and 2^nd place in Kids’ Athletics of the Kompetisi Olahraga Siswa Nasional Tingkat SD Kecamatan Penjaringan in February 2020. Well done!

We are proud to announce the winners of the World Mathematics Invitational (WMI) Finals 2020. Congratulations to all awardees and participants for bringing 22 awards home: 1 Diamond, 1 Gold, 3 Silver, 7 Bronze, and 10 Merit Awards. This is an incredible effort! Well done to our SIS-PIK Mathematicians.

There were 78 schools and 2,527 students participated in Japan International Science and Mathematics Olympiads (JISMO) Autumn 2020. Congratulations to all SIS-PIK awardees for bringing home the Individual Awards: 2 Diamond, 3 Ruby, 17 Emerald, 12 Sapphire and 13 Good Effort.

SIS-PIK also received School Award for obtaining three highest average scores for the following year levels:
