At SIS-PIK, we understand that students have different aspirations and strengths. That’s why we offer multiple pathways in Grades 11 and 12, allowing every learner to pursue the route that aligns best with their university and career goals. Whether through the academically rigorous International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) or the applied, career-focused BTEC International qualifications, our students are supported to succeed and grow—both as learners and as individuals.
The IBDP: A Global Standard in Academic Excellence
The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP), offered in Grades 11 and 12, is a world-renowned, academically challenging curriculum that prepares students for success at top universities globally.
At SIS-PIK, our IBDP students study six subjects alongside the core components: Theory of Knowledge (TOK), Extended Essay (EE), and Creativity, Activity, Service (CAS). The Hybrid Pathway:
Tailored for Individual Strengths
At SIS-PIK, not every student fits a single mould. That’s why we also offer a Hybrid Pathway, blending subjects from both the IBDP and BTEC frameworks.
This allows students to personalise their academic experience—combining the theoretical depth of the IB in selected subjects with the practical, project-based learning of BTEC. The hybrid approach provides both the intellectual challenge and real-world preparation that many learners need in today’s diverse academic landscape.
Grade 10:
A Specialised Bridging Year
Our Grade 10 programme is uniquely designed for students who join SIS-PIK from non-Cambridge backgrounds or who need a focused academic year to transition into Senior High.
In just one year, students complete a combination of IGCSE and BTEC qualifications, allowing them to build a strong foundation in core subjects while developing the skills and mindset required for the IBDP, BTEC, or Hybrid pathways in Grades 11 and 12.
With personalised guidance and structured academic planning, this bridging year ensures every student is well-prepared and positioned to make the most of their final years at SIS-PIK.
